Example: How to use maintenance manual if problems like user
disconnection and modem activation occur during daily operations.
1. Fault analysis and location refer to Chapter 2 ADSL line Fault in
Maintenance Manual for ZXDSL 9210 (V5.0.0) ZTE Broadband
Universal Access System, and carry out fault analysis and location as
instructed in this section.
2. For the line disconnection, refer to Chapter 3 and find the solutions
regarding frequent line disconnections, the corresponding fault type is
ADSL line fault.
3. To improve the Line quality following are the two methods:
Software Methods:

ii. Change the line type from Fast only into Interleave.
Physical Methods:

ii. Minimize the length of parallel cable used along the lead-in
telephone line, and use copper twisted pair if possible.
iii. Be sure to connect the splitter in front of all extensions when
telephones are connected to the subscriber end in parallel.

conditions of the in-band NMS. The Man-machine Interface Manual
introduces in detail two networking methods for the ZXNM01
integrated NMS of the ZXDSL 9210 equipment, indicating that the
specific PVC on the uplink service interface acts as the in-band NMS.
6. Make connections according to the actual networking condition. For
