Temperatures will increase into the mid 60s to low 70s (~ 3-6°F below normal) this afternoon after a cold morning across east central Florida. Mostly clear skies are expected to become partly cloudy to partly sunny into the afternoon. Isolated to widely scattered (20-30%) showers are forecast this afternoon and evening (mainly along and south of I-4). A Moderate Risk for rip currents exists at the east central Florida beaches. Additionally, a Limited potential exists for High Surf with large breaking waves and hazardous seas at the Volusia and northern Brevard county beaches today. Remember to always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the water alone. A Small Craft Advisory goes into effect at 10am for the Volusia county waters for north winds at 15-20kts with gusts up to 25kts and seas to 4-7ft.
