Local Weather History For October 30th...

Large hail, accompanied by very strong winds, caused widespread
damage in Gould on October 30th, 1987. Gould, in southwest Oklahoma, experienced golf ball-size hail with winds of 70 to 80 mph. The wind-driven hail damaged most of the roofs in town, broke out many windows, and dented the sides of many homes. The storm caused about $200,000 in damages. |
