[edit]Hey. I've nominated What Is and What Should Never Be (Supernatural) for FAC here. It's been a week, and there has been little response. Do you mind reviewing it? Thanks. Ωphois 21:35, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Re: Mole Hunt
[edit]Thanks for your message, I appreciate the move so that we try clearing things up and solve the problem peacefully, I never intended for this to be a war, I'm just doing what I think is right, needless to say that I didn't like your comments in the history page.
As you explained yourself, I would also like to explain myself. I know and understand that this was the first episode produced for the show and I have no objection to it being labeled Pilot because of this fact, however I disagree that it is the first episode. If you visit the show's official website http://www.fxnetworks.com//shows/originals/archer/episode.php you can see that it is labeled Season 1 | Episode 2, so it is not the fact that it aired after Training Day that is making it Episode 2, it is the fact that it is officially the second episode of the show! So that was not merely a rerun, that was THE second episode of the show and it is the previous airing that is "merely" a sneak preview of the show, you said it yourself "it previously aired during an unannounced preview" so it was just a sneak preview of the second episode, even if it was the first episode produced for the show, it does not mean that it is Episode 1, they chose to air it as Episode 2. The previous sneak preview was unscheduled, unannounced and not official. It was the official airing as Episode 2 that was scheduled, announced and official!
I know it is still indeed the Pilot, but I believe that we should make it clear that even though it is the Pilot, it is Episode 2 and this will not be "cooky" because everything will be explained! I believe that someone accessing this page on Wikipedia and reading that it is Episode 1 and then accessing the official page and reading that it is Episode 2 will be more confused that someone reading the explanation as to why it is the Pilot and Episode 2!
I hope I explained myself and as result, I'm going to have to undo your changes again and I hope this is the end of it! All I want is improving the wiki after all ;) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mschumacher69 (talk • contribs) 19:42, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
Out of curiosity...
[edit]...how'd you like "Hunting Trip"? lol. That was one of the sort of wackier episodes of the season, but it had a lot of Ron Swanson, which is always good in my book... :D — Hunter Kahn 05:10, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey SuperFlash, how's it going? Good work on "Mole Hunt" and your other episode articles. Listen, I have a favor, if you have time can you look over the Reception section for "St. Valentine's Day" and let me know if it's alright or not? I kinda been going back-and-forth with the article. I know your super busy, so if you don't have the time all is cool. But if you do, whatever I can help you with, I'll try to do. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 21:58, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'll work on what you suggested. Man, I kinda knew that the Star-Ledger bit would haunt me. I'll see if I can make it read better. Thanks Flash, I appreciate you taking your time to look it over. :) Oh, you're welcome. It was a good article, it deserved to be pass. Also, cause I'm a fan of Archer, so. Anyways, thanks again. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 22:35, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Re: Home Movies
[edit]Hey Flash, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I'm afraid, however, that I'm probably not going to prove very helpful to you. My access to Lexis at work has become much more limited in recent weeks, so if I am able to look this up for you, it probably won't be until next week at the very earliest. However, I'm willing to bet that I won't have much luck in any case, as Nielsen ratings info for cable programs is very hard to come by on Lexis. I can direct you to TV by the Numbers, which in my experience is the best source for this kind of thing, but I've sure you've probably already checked there. I'll try to look next week for you, but I wouldn't count on anything. :( — Hunter Kahn 23:48, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not really an expert at translating the rating/share stuff myself; I usually depend on the source to say how many households or viewers it translates to. Unfortunately, I think a ratings point translates to a different amount of household viewers depending on what year it is. If the source gives you a rating but not an amount of viewers, maybe you can find a source that says what a rating translates to that year and you can do the math? — Hunter Kahn 02:24, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey Flash. I've responded to your comments at the Woman of the Year GAN review. Thanks! — Hunter Kahn 02:02, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Hey Flash. Regarding the commentary, I wish I could be more help, but usually I can find my SP commentaries either on the website Southparkstuff.com, or on YouTube simply by searching for the episode and commentary. It seems neither site has them (this is the SPS.com site for this episode but there's no commentary download link; there is some trivia that might be helpful to you, but you'd need to find a source for it all). Other than those sites, all I can recommend is renting the disc if you can.
- As far as the one week turnaround for episodes, perhaps I can be more helpful. If you check out this really cool NPR interview with Trey and Matt, not too far into the transcript, look at the response to the question, "After you did the episode, Comedy Central, which broadcasts your show, which shows "South Park," was pretty upset about it, and you ended up having to pull a scene." Matt and Trey talk about how they do their episodes within one week, and then they talk specifically about Cartoon Wars, and how they were using this method on that episode. Since that episode is a Season 10 episode, and Le Petit Tourette is a Season 11 episode, you can cite this NPR interview and reasonably conclude that it was done in the one week turnaround, I think... — Hunter Kahn 13:47, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

GAN backlog elimination drive - 1 week to go
[edit]First off, on behalf of myself and my co-coordinator Wizardman, I would like to thank you for the efforts that you have made so far in this GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a success, and that is thanks to you. See this Signpost article about what this drive has achieved so far.
We're currently heading into the final week of the drive. At this time, if you have any GANs on review or on hold, you should be finishing off those reviews. Right now, we have more GANs on review or on hold than we do unreviewed. If you're going to start a GA review, please do so now so you can complete it by the end of the month and so that the nominator has a full 7-day window to address any concerns. See you at the finish! |

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Art of the Sucker Punch. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 00:20, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]
On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, I'd like to especially thank you for your efforts over this past month's GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a complete success, which hopefully results in more expedient good article reviews, increasing users' confidence in the good article nomination processes. Even if you made just a small contribution, it still helped contribute to the success of this drive. Here is what we have accomplished this last month in this drive.
For those who have accomplished certain objectives in the drive, awards will be coming shortly. Again, thank you for your help in the drive, and I hope you continue to help review GA nominations and overall improve the quality of articles here on Wikipedia. |

You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs (talk) 17:18, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Phineas and Ferb
[edit]Can you get the former List of Phineas and Ferb characters picture (The one with Stacy, Isabella, Adyson, etc.) to a different name for others to look at? Also do we need the season 3 section for the PnF episodes page? Checker Fred has reverted it a few times due to it being not said by Disney by his mind, but that is false. After all, wasn't over a year now that it was confirmed? You may want a discussion with him about it and let me know about it. A person even added a source for season 3, but it got reverted too by him as well. Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:PhineasFerbPaint designs.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 16:00, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

About Phineas and Ferb
[edit]Hey, dude! You probably know me for awarding you that barnstar. Anyway, your contributions to Phineas and Ferb are very spectacular, so would you consider joining WikiProject Phineas and Ferb? [edit]Stumbled upon your user page on him while cleaning up references using Icon group International. Unfortunately, Icon Group International is not a reliable source - their books are computer-generated, with most of the text copied from Wikipedia (most entries have [WP] by them to indicate this, see e.g.[1]). Despite giving an appearance of reliability, the name "Webster's" has been public domain since the late 19th century. Another publisher to be wary of as they reuse Wikipedia articles is Alphascript Publishing. No problem, just thought you should know. Dougweller (talk) 13:00, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Deleted a category relevant to your userpage
[edit]You're listed as being a member of Category:WikiProject Phineas and Ferb members, which I've deleted under speedy deletion criterion G8 — the wikiproject was deleted last year, and there's no point in having a category for members of something that doesn't exist. I've not edited your userpage, so I'm notifying you in case you'd like to remove yourself from a nonexistent category. Nyttend (talk) 13:18, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Rugrats Chanukah TFAR
[edit]I added A Rugrats Chanukah to the list of pending requests at WP:TFAR for the first day of Chanukah. It has 2 points now and could get 3 if you nominate it (assuming you haven't had other TFARs in the past). –Dream out loud (talk) 09:18, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Main page appearance: A Rugrats Chanukah
[edit]This is a note to let the main editors of A Rugrats Chanukah know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on December 21, 2011. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/December 21, 2011. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegate Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), or start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. The blurb as it stands now is below:
"A Rugrats Chanukah" is a special episode of Nickelodeon's animated television series Rugrats. The first episode of the show's fourth season, it tells the story of the Jewish holiday Chanukah through the eyes of the Rugrats, who imagine themselves as the main characters. The idea of a Rugrats Chanukah special was pitched by Nickelodeon executives in 1992, but the concept was revised and became the 1995 special, "A Rugrats Passover". After production of the Passover episode wrapped, the crew returned to the Chanukah idea. Nickelodeon broadcast "A Rugrats Chanukah" on December 4, 1996; the episode received a Nielsen rating of 7.9 and positive reviews from television critics. Along with other Rugrats episodes featuring Grandpa Boris and his wife, the special attracted controversy when the Anti-Defamation League compared the character designs to anti-Semitic drawings from a 1930s Nazi newspaper. [edit]You were the image reviewer at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Pilot (Parks and Recreation)/archive1 which was promoted to FA on 8 March 2010. This included a review of the infobox image File:Pilot parks and recreation.jpg. WikiProject Good Articles Recruitment Centre
[edit] Hello! Now, some of you might have already received a similar message a little while ago regarding the Recruitment Centre, so if you have, there is no need to read the rest of this. This message is directed to users who have reviewed over 15 Good article nominations and are not part of WikiProject Good articles (the first message I sent out went to only WikiProject members).
So for those who haven't heard about the Recruitment Centre yet, you may be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around it (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along. A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.--Dom497 (talk) This message was sent out by --EdwardsBot (talk) 15:08, 9 June 2013 (UTC) |
WP:FOUR RFC
[edit]There are two WP:RFCs at WP:FOUR. The first is to conflate issues so as to keep people from expressing meaningful opinions. The second, by me, is claimed to be less than neutral by proponents of the first. Please look at the second one, which I think is much better.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 07:33, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Rollercoaster (Phineas and Ferb) edit of 18:31, 2009 June 8
[edit]In your substantial edit, you included the phrase: "...Phineas and Ferb building an extremely large roller coaster panning from their backyard to throughout the city."
I am unfamiliar with the use of the word 'panning' in this sense. I would tend to replace it with the word 'running', but I'm assuming you know a new meaning for the word. Please enlighten me (or adjust the entry as you see fit).

[edit]Hello. I do not know if you will read this message as it appears that you are inactive on here, but I just wanted to thank you for all of your work with Rugrats articles.
