1.0 OBJETIVO / OBJECTIVE

Establecer un procedimiento de rescate industrial que permita una respuesta rápida, eficaz y
Segura para evacuar personas en espacios confinados (EXCAVACIONES).

Establish an industrial rescue procedure that allows a quick, effective and safe response to evacuate people
in confined spaces (EXCAVATIONS).

2.0 ALCANCE / SCOPE

El procedimiento aplicara en todos los trabajos que se realicen dentro de EXCAVACIONES.

The procedure applies to all work carried out within EXCAVATIONS.

4.0 DEFINICIONES / DEFINITIONS

• Atmósferas peligrosas: área donde se detecta presencia de cualquier tipo de gas que tenga la
capacidad de afectar al organismo, asfixiante, toxico e inflamable.

Dangerous atmospheres: area where the presence of any type of gas that has the capacity to affect
the body is detected, asphyxiating, toxic and flammable.

• Escalera de dos secciones: Escalera doble, unida con unas guías metálicas, con una polea en la
parte superior y bloqueos mecánicos en la parte inferior de la sección que se desplaza.

Two-section ladder: Double ladder, connected with metal guides, with a pulley at the top and
mechanical locks at the bottom of the moving section.

• Extracción lenta: Técnica de rescate donde se hace la valoración primaria, Inmovilización y

empaquetamiento de la víctima antes de ser extraída.

Slow extraction: rescue technique where the primary assessment, immobilization and packaging of
the victim is made before being extracted.

• Extracción rápida: Técnica de rescate donde se extrae la victima de manera rápida por peligro
inminente o por que la lesión de la víctima no lo amerita.

Quick extraction: rescue technique where the victim is extracted quickly due to imminent danger or
because the victim's injury does not warrant it.

5.0 RESPONSABILIDADES / RESPONSABILITIES

5.1 Superintendente de Construcción / Construction Superintendent

Verifica que el procedimiento de rescate este anexo al permiso de trabajo junto con toda la
documentación anexa. Cuando se requiera activa el plan de emergencia del campo que corresponda
e inicia. comunicaciones con HSE

Verify that the rescue procedure is attached to the work permit along with all the attached

5.2 Residente de Obra / Site Resident

• Tiene todos los elementos en sitio / Has all the elements in place
• Personal entrenado. / Trained staff.
• Colabora con la evacuación de los trabajadores. / Collaborate with the evacuation of workers.
• Sigue las recomendaciones del ejercicio previo, elabora las valoraciones medicas del personal
que va a ingresar a las cajas subterráneas, ingresa usando arnés y línea de seguridad anclada al
anillo de espalda.
Follow the recommendations of the previous exercise, prepare the medical evaluations of the
personnel who will enter the underground boxes, enter using a harness and a security line
anchored to the back ring.

5.3 Supervisor de Seguridad e Higiene / Health and Safety Supervisor

• Suministra y verifica previamente los elementos requeridos para el trabajo y las labores de rescate.
Verifica que todo el equipo de rescate esté en condiciones operativas que los elementos de rescate
estén en sitio antes de comenzar el trabajo, realiza simulacro y entrenamiento con los ejecutantes.

6.1.4 Precauciones de Salud y Seguridad / Health and Safety Precautions

• Verificar que los elementos estén en el sitio antes de iniciar los trabajos.

• Realizar ventilación destapando parcialmente el cárcamo.

• Realizar monitoreo de atmósferas antes del ingreso y permanentemente mientras estén

adentro.

• Alertar al personal de HSE, Personal de Brigada, Técnicos de rescate antes del ingreso.

• En caso que la víctima haya tenido trauma por caída, se debe proceder a una extracción
lenta, asegurar las condiciones del sitio, inmovilizar en camilla y proceder de la misma
forma como describe el esquema.
In the event that the victim has had trauma due to a fall, proceed to a slow extraction, ensure
the conditions of the site, immobilize on a stretcher and proceed in the same way as
described in the scheme.

• Si la victima sufre alteración de conciencia súbita (desmayo) proceder a extracción rápida

como muestra el esquema.
