The Pep Band at Duquesne is an energized group of musicians who lend their musical abilities and school spirit to create a "home court advantage" for the Duquesne athletics teams. The band regularly performs at football games and men's and women's basketball games throughout the year and is made up of students from all disciplines who share a love for music and Duquesne athletics. A repertoire of traditional songs and modern hits provides for a fun, high-energy environment. If you liked playing in marching band in high school, you'll love the Duquesne Pep Band.Â
Pep Band Member Benefits:
- $30 paid stipend per performance
- Polo to wear while performing
- Travel to postseason tournaments
- Earn academic, class credit* (1 credit hour per semester)
*Students are not required to enroll in the class to join the Pep Band.
