The radio call of each Wyoming football and men's and women's basketball games is also streamed through the official University of Wyoming athletics website: GoWyo.com. Dave Walsh will be serving as the "Voice of the Cowboys" for his 37th season. He will be joined by longtime Cowboy color analyst Kevin McKinney, who will be adding color commentary on Wyoming football games for the 22nd consecutive season.
A native of San Diego, Calif., Walsh received his degree in radio and television in 1975 from San Diego State. He was the sports director at KVOC Radio in Casper, Wyo., prior to joining the Cowboys. He is a nine-time Wyoming Sportscaster of the Year as selected by his peers of the National Association of Sportswriters and Sportscasters. Walsh was also inducted into the University of Wyoming Hall of Fame in 2016, and the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2015.
McKinney, a Cheyenne native and University of Wyoming graduate, has also been honored during his distinguished career as a Wyoming Sportscaster of the Year. McKinney serves as a Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs at UW. He was also inducted into the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2015.
