NAU Athletics and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Program

NAU Athletics and the Big Sky Conference support student-athletes in pursuing NIL opportunities within Arizona state law, NCAA rules, and university guidelines.

Objectives of the NAU NIL Program

• To inform student-athletes of their rights and limitations under A.R.S. § 15-1892;
• To educate student-athletes regarding NIL activities;
• To provide educational resources and tools for student-athletes to maximize their NIL opportunities; and
• To protect the eligibility of student-athletes who participate in NIL activities through disclosure requirements.
