Meghna’s Food Magic on Instagram: "AMLA CHUTNEY (AMLA ACHAR) -   Best season to have Amla at home and to make instant Amla Ka Achar or Chutney which you can give in tiffin as well.   Recipe is so easy -  - Take 1/2 kg Amla (gooseberry) and steam cook till Amla gets tender (on medium flame takes 10-15 min or you can steam in pressure cooker too) - Now separate the seeds and amla flesh - In a Pan, take 1 tbs oil, add 1 tbs Panch phoron (mixture of fenugreek seed, nigella seed, cumin Seed, black mustard seed and fennel seed in equal part) - then 1 tsp whole coriander seeds - some asafoetida (hing powder) - then add steamed amla and saute nicely for 5 minutes  - then add 1/2 cup jaggery (can add more if you prefer more sweet) - Cook it on medium flame till jaggery gets melted and mixture becom Amla Chutney, Amla Recipes, Haldi Powder, Fenugreek Seed, Black Mustard Seeds, Food Magic, Nigella Seeds, Black Salt, Steam Cooking

Traditional Punjabi recipe 

Ingredients ✅ & Recipe for 1 kg✅✅
Amla/ Gooseberry -1 kg,soak in water for 2 hours,sun dry for 1 hour,steam till tender and they split a little.Remove the seeds and cut into slices
Asafoetida -1 tsp
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds-2 tsp
Fennel seeds -1 tsp
Mustard seeds -1 tsp
Black cardamom -2
Cinnamon stick -1 inch
Mustard oil -2 tbsp 
Heat Mustard oil,add all the spices mentioned above,add the steamed Amla.
Powder masala ✅✅✅
Salt-1 tbsp
Black salt -1 tbsp
Red chilli powder -1 tsp
Degi mirch powder -1 tsp
Black pepper pwd-1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin seeds powder -1 tbsp 
Add all the above mentioned spices.
Add 1 cup of water and 250 gm crushed jaggery.
