Drugost

Drugost (engl. otherness), kao karakteristika nekog da je drugačiji, je termin koji se upotrebljava u suvremenoj antropologiji za kulturne razlike koje su temelj identifikacijskih procesa. U srpskohrvatskom jeziku kao sinonim se često koristi i termin različitost, dok se za proces isključivanja i distanciranja na temelju normi specifične društvene skupine rabi i pojam odstranjivanje (engl. othering). Koncept drugosti ima korijene u radovima brojnih filozofa, uključujući Hegela, de Beauvoir, Lacana, Levinasa, Saida, Fabiana, Spivak, itd.
