BEFORE UTM: Was a versatile performer for head coaches Scott Guymon and Danny Giles at Westview High School…Was named the Jackson Sun 2021-22 All-West Tennessee Male Athlete of the Year as he earned all-state accolades in two different sports (baseball, football) and all-district in another (basketball)…Brought home District 12AA Player of the Year accolades in back-to-back seasons (2021 and 2022) and was named Jackson Sun All-West Tennessee Baseball Player of the Year in 2022…Hit .567 with a .623 on-base percentage and .928 slugging percentage as a senior, crushing 55 hits, 14 doubles, seven home runs, 53 RBI’s and 38 runs scored to go along with 18 stolen bases…Drove in seven runs in a win over Camden on April 28 and blasted a walk-off home run against McCracken County in his senior year…Posted a .425 batting average with 50 hits, 14 doubles and four home runs during his junior campaign, helping Westview post a 26-10 record…Ranked as the eight-best catching prospect in his class by Perfect Game…Received Preseason All-American honors in 2022 from Perfect Game…Also was a standout wide receiver, helping Westview to its first-ever Class 2A state championship after hauling in 63 catches for 1,049 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior.
