Danny Modelski enters his first season as an assistant at UT Martin, serving as the program’s quarterbacks coach for the 2024 season.
Prior to joining the Skyhawks, he spent the 2023 campaign as an offensive graduate assistant at Mississippi State.
Modelski served as a quarterback graduate assistant at Central Michigan during from 2021-22. Before his stint with the Chippewas, he spent two seasons as a defensive quality control coach at Brown University from 2019-21.
He also enjoyed a stint as a scouting assistant and assistant to offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Mick McCall at Northwestern. Duties included unofficial and official visits, video and breakdown of NFL film for the offensive staff along with coaching quarterbacks at the Northwestern Prospect Showcase Camps and Throw It Deep Passing Academy.
During his prep career he was a two-year starter at quarterback and earned IHSA All-State honors at Conant High School.
A native of Hoffman Estate, Ill., Modelski earned his bachelor’s degree in communications and rhetorical studies from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Fla. in 2017.
