The Academy has a broad commitment to health issues, both in Sweden and internationally through scientific collaborative organisations. Much of the Academy's work in this area is coordinated by the Health Committee, but the Academy is also a member of the European Academies' Science Advisory Council (EASAC) and the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), which often deals with health issues.
