PLACEMENT MANAGEMENT
PERS-46 is the Navy’s order issuing authority for all declared contingency operations (full or partial mobilization and Presidential Reserve Call Up (PRC)). PERS-46 issues deployment and re-deployment orders for AC personnel identified to fill individual augmentation contingency manpower requirements via:
Overseas Contingency Operations Support Assignment (OSA)
Individual Augmentation Manpower Management (IAMM) and
Global Support Assignment (GSA)
PERS-46 also issues mobilization and demobilization orders for RC personnel identified to fill individual augmentation assignment (RC Mob) as well as RC personnel mobilized as part of an established commissioned unit.
PERS-46 also manages the Active Duty for Operational Support (ADOS) program, promulgates policy and processing guidelines for the Navy Mobilization Processing Site (NMPS) operations and provides functional and technical program management of the Navy Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS).
PERS-46 promulgates policy and processing guidelines for the Navy Mobilization Processing Site (NMPS) and is responsible for revisions to the Expeditionary Screening Checklist (NAVPERS 1300/22) and the Medical Suitability Certification form (NAVPERS 1300/21). PERS-46 also liaisons with the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) for revisions to the Expeditionary Medical and Dental Screening form (NAVMED 1300/4) and other theater specific medical screening forms.
This website provides information, resources and useful links for both AC and RC personnel in receipt of deployment orders and information pertaining to ADOS requests and orders.
