Student Opportunities
The Pathways Program offers federal internship and employment opportunities for current students, recent graduates and those with an advanced degree.
Current students and recent graduates from a variety of educational institutions from high school to graduate level are eligible to apply.
Student Interns enjoy paid opportunities to work in agencies and explore federal careers while they are still in school. They may work part- or full-time and may be hired for long-term or summer work.

Presidential Management Fellows
The Federal Government's leadership development program is open to those holding graduate degrees such as a masters or doctorate.
This highly competitive program features 2 years of outstanding training and developmental opportunities. PMFs that successfully complete program requirements may be eligible for permanent employment.
William M. Lapenta Student Summer Internship Program
A 10-week paid summer internship program targeted for current undergraduate and graduate students to learn about weather and climate modeling, the forecast process, impact based decision support, product development, social science applications and more.
