Larry S Itā€™s like watching a whole series made up of those low-budget inserts that appear during a history documentary. Perfect holiday filler for the Hallmark Channel. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review Julia I I loved it! Finally an Amazon tv series that is worth watching! Great stories, characters, acting, made me feel like I was there. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review Marty S Better than WHEEL OF TIME and RINGS OF POWER. Relatable, great characters, and a storyline we can follow. Well done Wonder Project! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review Sean R I really enjoyed the first 3 episodes. I liked Michael Iskander as David and Ethan Kai as Jonathan. But of special note are the performances of Ali Suliman as King Saul, whose character was incredible/complex, and that of Stephen Lang as the prophet, Samuel. Episode 1 was good, but felt maybe a bit clunky. But episode 2 was really good, and episode 3 the best so far. I definitely can't wait for the rest of the season's 5 episodes. An interesting start, with Iskander's singing a plus, and some good action sequences throughout. Recommended for believer or nonbeliever alike. Sean Elliot Russell Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review James L House of David did one thing House of the Dragon couldnā€™t doā€¦be entertaining with more action with a king slowly slipping into madness. The plot is there, the violence is there, the entertainment factor is thereā€¦and even better, the book version aligns very closely. Itā€™s a definite win. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review fumstar o This is an absolute must see, they found a way to still keep it biblical yet tell a story that anyone would want to know more, whether you are Christian or not. If you read the Bible lines used in this movie will jump out at you. Great acting and top quality, great cinematography, certainly not boring and yet a lesson to learn in every scene. I cannot wait to see the rest. My favorite part was when no one was allowed to seat until David arrived to be Annoited, the words used in the movie is exactly as it is in the Bible. I actually went to read the chapter again after this scene; just to pray. This is how Bible stories should be told; connect with the viewer. God bless all that was involved in this movie and may it win souls for Christ. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
