Content Delivery (30) Teaching is a principal mission for the conduit of technology and whets the students with
technical facet. The prospectus is put across to the students by means of Lectures, Working Models, Simulations, Over Head Projectors, Power Point presentations and related Research Papers. The teaching methods are fortified with Seminars, Interactions, Questionnaires, Assignments, Case Studies, e-tutorials (NPTEL videos), Industrial Visits, In Plant Training and Guest Lectures. The students are completely benefited from our Faculties who are trained in WIPRO MISSION 10X. The students awareness is further upgraded by Microsoft Innovations Alliance Partner. The students endorse their knowledge thirst with the additional contents taught beyond the syllabus. This include (table) Additional experiments are included to meet the PEOs, to avoid cookbook experimentation and to update obsolete experiments in addition to the curriculum requirement. The equipments that satisfy the needs of expansion embrace FPGA based Digital Logic circuits Stepper Motor LAB View Digital Storage Oscilloscope MATLAB7 Circuit Maker VIII-P.3 Laboratory and Project Work (20)
The affiliating Anna University updates the curriculum whenever necessary. Anna University Chennai updated the curriculum in 2001, 2004 and 2005.Later our institution was affiliated to Anna University of Technology,Coimbatoreand the curriculum was revised in 2007.To meet the industrial demand the University updates the syllabus for the specific subject whenever the need arises. In addition the faculty members send representation to the board of study of ECE for further consideration during the next revision. The PEOs of the ECE Department is also considered for conducting various courses and the faculty members in association with course experts prepare modules for the syllabus beyond the curriculum.List of the course modules Paavai Engineering College Department of ECE Page 80 of 191

X-P.3Effectively and Efficiency of the Mechanism/Procedure for Continuous Review and Outcome Measurements (20) Viewing the review and outcome measurement processes as continuously improving, attempts must be made to document the effectivity and efficiency of the mechanism/procedures. 1. Content Delivery: The course content delivered is the organization and sequencing of course content, to systematize a course & to accomplish a particular set of objectives. The faculty members through an executive scheme and an appropriate teaching strategy accomplish the content objectives. To meet the Programme Educational Objectives, the content is delivered through lecturing, working models, LCD presentations, OHPs, NPTEL videos, Industrial Visits and Inplant trainings.
2. Laboratory classes: The most contemporary lab equipped with highly sophisticated equipments are testimony to its uniqueness. Equipped laboratories on form with latest machines and software are provided to enhance the implementation of theoretical concepts and to perform scientific research in controlled conditions. Each programme for which an institution seeks accreditation or reaccreditation must have in place: (a) (b) (c) published educational objectives that are consistent with the mission of the institution and these criteria, a process that periodically documents and demonstrates that the objectives are based on the needs of the programme's various constituents, and an assessment and evaluation process that periodically documents and demonstrates the degree to which these objectives are attained.
Programme Outcomes Programme outcomes are narrower statements that describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge, and behaviors that students acquire in their matriculation through the programme. Engineering programmes must demonstrate that their students attain the following outcomes: (a) (b) (c) an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering, an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data, an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability, Page 151 of 191
