Statement of the Problem

What are the main causes and effects of unemployment on the citizens of the community of Milk River, Clarendon?

Research Questions
What are the main causes of unemployment in the community of Milk River? Is the government doing anything to decrease the number of persons unemployed?

Method of Investigation
The researcher has decided to use a printed questionnaire which will be distributed to the residents of Milk River through a process of random selection. The questionnaire is a tool for collecting data which guarantees confidentiality of the informant. With the questionnaire, an immediate response is not required so the informant (resident) can have enough time to carefully study the questions and answer as honestly as possible. Also, the distribution and collection of the questionnaires are not time consuming.
