RECIPE FOR: IDLI SANNA - MIL

Ingredients:

1 kg kg 2 handful 2 tsp

Rice Urad dal Boiled rice Yeast or toddy

Method Soak rice and urad dal sepertely overnight Next day grind rice and dal in the mixture. Put 2 tsp of yeast in lukewarm water. Add this mixture to the grounded rice and ural dal batter. Add salt and mix well with hands. Keep the consistency thick Clean an onion and place on top of the batter. When it ferments, it automatically goes down. Allow to sit. Put half lime in tandoor. In small piece of cloth, add coconut oil to watis. Then place the batter in it. Please ensure not to fill the batter till the brim. Only place amounts. Keep in tandoor for 20 mins. Serve hot.
