PHILSCA tops aeronautical board exams anew
December 21, 2010, 12:45pm MANILA, Philippines Three graduates of the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PHILSCA) topped the recent aeronautical engineering board examinations given by the Professional Regulations Commission. They are Kenneth Rene Ian M. Talag, Johpa Marra Eizaraa G. Alinea, and Oscar L. Dominguiano, who placed first, fourth, and seventh respectively in the Top 10. The PRC also congratulated PHILSCA president, Dr. Bernard R. Ramirez for steering the college to maintain its record as the most outstanding aviation school in the country. In the board examination last year, PHILSCA also emerged on the top with Engr. Lemuel Banal topping the board exams. The new aeronautical engineers took their oath last December 4 at the Bayview Hotel in Manila. A thanksgiving party at the new PHILSCA building in the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City led by Dr. Ramirez and the board passers was held. Present during the event were Dr. Roderick C. Santiago, vice president for academic affairs; Dr. Jay Jack R. Manzano, dean, Institute of Engineering and Technology; Dr. Louie Timajo; board passers Engrs. Zaivher G. Andaleon, Mark Gerald DC Dela Pena, Jay-Ar R. Sayson, Mark Gerald DC Davido, Aries D. Hernandez, Mark Gino Bacalla, Darren Gay G. Ladaga, Domingo H. Rian, Carissa Jane L. Rivera, Edgar Aguilar, Jay-R BAsitao, and Ralph Lovel Fineza.
