SNOW DAYS With our Global Connect automatic calling, you should receive a phone call if school is called off due
to the weather. Please make sure we have a working number for you on file.

SPRING PICTURE DAY will be Monday, February 23rd. All students will be photographed. Please notify
your childs teacher if you do not want an individual portrait taken of your child. Package information sheets were
sent home this week. Just send the form with your child on picture day with your background chosen. Pictures will be sent
home for your review before buying. If you choose not to buy, pictures need to be retuned to the office.
3. We have many students missing a lot of days of instruction. Your support in encouraging good attendance and assisting
students with homework is greatly appreciated. We do understand that illness does occur. We are still receiving reports of
strep throat, flu, and colds. Thank you for keeping us informed by calling us whenever your student is absent. Doctor or
Dentist notes are needed for an excused absence, preferably the day the student returns to school.
4. The MICHIGAN CENTER COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY will be open every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30
7:30 p.m. The pantry is located at the west end of Keicher. Follow the signs through the Pre-School playground gate. See
dates above.

PTOS 6TH ANNUAL DADDY/DAUGHTER DANCE will be held on February 28th in the Michigan Center High School
Gym from 6:00 9:00 p.m. Parents, please pick up your Daddy/Daughter boxes on Tuesday, February 17 th from 3:30 4:30
p.m. at Arnold School, Tuesday, February 24th from 5:30 7:30 p.m. at the High School or Wednesday, February 25 th from
4:30 6:30 p.m. at Keicher School. Boxes will include tiara, corsage, and ticket. Tickets do not need to be brought to the
dance. The girls names will be on a list at the door. If you were unable to pick up their box on any of those nights, they may
be picked up the night of the dance.

EASTERN BRANCH LIBRARY will be having yet another Mario Kart Tournament on Saturday, February 21st at 2:00
p.m. Come join all of the fun for teens and tweens, and munch some great goodies, too. Finally, there will be a Star Wars
program, The Force Be with You, on Saturday, February 28th at 11:00 a.m. There will be stories, crafts, and goodies for all.
