    Treasures Reading is ONLINE! Go over what we are
    covering in class as a review with your child. You
    can reread the story, go over questions, play
    games, all to help your child prepare for the test
    and/or lessons! To gain online access to our
    Student Journal, visit www.kidblog.com/mrsmdaivs
    to log on. Username and Password are

    In math, we have finished patterns and
    input/output. We will be starting fractions after
    Spring Break!
    In reading this month, we are working on
    inferences and focusing on cause and effect.
    In writing, we continued our Energy resource
    project: How can we make a difference in the
    World.
    **M-STEP Testing is starting (the test that is taking
    place of MEAP). Please see the dates to the right.
    It is very important that your child gets a good
    night sleep the night before, a good breakfast, and
    is here at school, on time, that day.
