1.
This is to inform you that this Division will conduct the 2015 Alternative Learning
System (ALS) Graduation Program for ALS learners who passed the February 1, 2015
Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test. The said activity is scheduled on June 11,
2015 at Kabacan Pilot Elementary School Gym to start at 8:30 in the morning.

The said program aims to honor and recognize the performance of six hundred
thirteen (613) A&E passers whose names are uploaded to alsnorthcotabato.weebly.com.
3.
In line with this, all ALS implementers are required to download the list of A&E
passers from the website, inform their A&E passers and invite them together with their
parents, relatives and friends to attend the said graduation.
4.
Furthermore, all ALS implementers are also task to invite the chairmen of the
committee on education of their respective municipalities to witness the said graduation
program and to encourage them to support the delivery of basic education through ALS in
their respective municipalities.

Moreover, all ALS implementers are required to attend a cluster meeting on June 5,
2015 to start at 9:00 in the morning at the designated venue which is conducive to all
cluster members. The said meeting aims to create different working committees and to
finalize the graduation program which will be facilitated by the assigned EPSA II.

1.
In line with the aim of providing access to basic education for all and to zero out
dropout rate both in the elementary and secondary public schools, all Abot-Alam Teachers,
Literacy Volunteers, Mobile Teachers and District ALS Coordinators are task to coordinate
with elementary and secondary school heads in their assigned area to implement the ALS
Abot-Alam Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).

The target learners of the ALS Abot-Alam ADM are those pupils/students with the
following problems:
2.1 at risks of dropping out due to distance, poverty, and disability or with
traumatic experiences
2.2 over-aged (15 to 30 years old) and who would like to avail of the Alternative
Delivery Mode (ADM) based on the 2014 Abot-Alam data-base.

The said pupils/students will be officially enrolled in the formal school this SY 20152016. However, the learning session will managed by the Abot-Alam implementers,
literacy workers, Mobile Teachers and District ALS Coordinators in coordination with the
formal school using the existing guidelines of the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM)
4.
To further clarify the program implementation, a general orientation of the said
program will be on June 11, 2015 at Kabacan Pilot Elementary School Gym to start at 8:30
in the morning.
5.
Participants to the said orientation are all central school principals/school heads
and selected secondary school heads (see enclosure of this Memo).
6.
Snacks and lunch of the participants are chargeable against division MOOE while
transportation to and from the venue are chargeable against local funds subject to the
usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

Note: All school heads of central schools in the elementary are required to attend
the orientation on June 11, 2015.
