This document provides specifications for turfing work. It specifies that an approved pre-turfing fertilizer be worked into the top 50mm of soil prior to turfing. Turfs must be square, at least 300mm x 300mm with 25mm of topsoil, and contain a minimum of 85% cultivated grass. For slopes over 14 degrees, each turf must be secured with a wooden peg. The contractor is responsible for maintaining turfed areas during a 12-month liability period, which includes regular watering, fertilizing, and replacing any dead grass or bare spots larger than 35mm in diameter.
