high school graduates are pleased to learn and know more about Dengue. They want to know how to prevent and manage
dengue in case they get to have it. Theyre interested in this topic because one of their community member died last year from
dengue fever. The community speaks Kankanaey and Ilocano, but can also understand and speak Tagalog and English. Theyre
entertained and could learn more in the form of a role play and songs. The members of the community vary in religion. Some
are Catholic, others are Baptists, INK and Protestants.
LEARNING NEED: How to prevent and manage Dengue.
LEARNING DIAGNOSIS: Health seeking behavior: prevention and management of dengue, related to lack of application as
manifested by forgetting easily the information taught by the NGO groups.
GOAL: The people in the community will be able to apply the information taught by the health educator about Dengue.
