Introduction:

Model Y20 Hand-Held Rock Drill is intended for dry drilling downward and inclined blast
holes in medium hard and hard rock (f8 - 18).

The rock drill is mainly used in small quarries and mines for drilling ,blasting for
construction road in mountain areas, water conservancy works in capital construction, also
for secondary blasting in large mines and other projects.

JSI ROCKTOOLS

Model FY200B Line Oiler is incorporated into the drill for lubricating during operation.

Operation and maintenance:

Besides observance to the general safety precautions for rock drilling operations, the following
points must be adhered to:
When connecting the drill to the air supplies, check carefully if the wire clip (52) which
combines the air pipe swivel (53) with the back head (35) is entirely and correctly set in
the semi-circular groove in the back head, check frequently the wear on the clip (52),
timely replace the worn out one.
The part (1),(2) and (3) of the distribution valve assembly should be assembled and
disassembled with great care to make sure that no burrs will appear through pushing and
striking. After reassembling, shake gently the valve assembly to see if the valve (2) can
nimbly move to the end positions in the valve chest (3).
The rifle nut (8) and the position (9) are left-hand threaded. Cautions should be taken
during assembling and disassembling.

The rifle nut and the piston left-hand threaded. Be careful with the direction of rotation
during assembling and disassembling.
Before connecting the drill to the air supplies, check if the wire clip(35) is entirely and
correctly set in the semi-circular groove in the back-head(25). Frequently check the wear
on the clip, replace the worn out and broken one timely to avoid the shooting out of the air
connector(36) when the air is on.

Before starting the machine, fill up FY200B Line Oiler with lube oil. The drill should not
be operated without lube oil.

Application:

YT24 Air-leg Rock Drill, an important tool for rook drilling operations in mines, railway,
communication and water conservancy projects, ect., is most suitable for making
horizontal and inclined blastholes in medium hard and hard rocks with a hardness of
f8~18.

The drill may be used with FT140B or FB140BD Air-leg and FY200B Line Oiler with
transparent housing. It may also be mounted on a rig or a wagon.

frequently the wear on the clips, timely replace the worn out or broken one, so as to avoid
the shooting out of the swivel or the connector when the air or water is on.
Before operation, fill the line oiler with oil up to the required level. The drill should not be
run without proper lubrication (recommended lube oil N46 and N22, Chinese National
Standard GB443-84).
After operation, first turn off the water, lightly run the drill for a few seconds, blow out the
residual water drops to prevent the parts from being corroded.

YT27 AIR LEG ROCK DRILL
Application:
The Airleg Rock Drill Model YT27 is a highly efficient pneumatic rock drilling machine which
is mainly used for tunneling works in mines. It is also an important tool for quarrying works in
railway, hydraulic engineering and national defence. Fitted up with line oiler model FY 250 and
air leg model FT160A. The machine is suitable for wet drilling of horizontal or inclined holes in
medium and hard rock. The machine can also be mounted on a jumbo instead of an air leg.

Operation & Maintenance:

Besides observance of the general safety precautions for rock drilling operations, the following
points should be attended to:

The rifle nut and the piston left-hand threaded. Caution should be taken during assembling
and disassembling.

Before connecting the drill to the air and water supplies, check carefully if the wire
clips(37) (43) are entirely and correctly set in the respective semi-circular grooves of the
backhead(29). Check frequently the wear on the clips and timely replace out of the swivel
or the connector when the air or water is on.

Before operation, fill the line oiler with lubrication oil to the required level. The drill
should not word without lubrication oil(recommended lube oil N46 and N22, Chinese
National Standard GB443-84).

After operation, first turn off the water, run the drill lightly for a few seconds, blow out the
residual water drops to prevent the parts from being corroded.
