Invitation:
Dear Academicians. Practicing Pediatricians, Postgraduates and Nursing Community,

Greeting from Shivamogga, “The Gateway of Malnad”

On behalf of the organizing committee, it gives us immense pleasure and honour to extend
invitation to all for the IVth SOUTH ZONE & XIII KARNATAKA STATE ANNUAL
CONVENTION OF NATIONAL NEONATOLOGY FORUM of NNF Karnataka State Chapter,
IAP Karnataka State Branch, IAP District Branch Shivamogga, Karnataka IMA District Branches
Shivamogga, Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences, Shivamogga at the Shivamogga Institute of
Medical Sciences, auditorium, Shivamogga, Karnataka.

In this conclave with the experienced faculty of international and national repute, you will
have wonderful opportunity to renew old ties and friendship, discuss important issues, exchange
ideas and share knowledge and experiences in the field of neonatal survival.

The theme of the conference is Improving Neonatal Survival- Now or Never. Because all of
you have realized the importance of reaching the newborn in difficult to access areas utilizing our
meager resources, in the most cost effective way as we cater to a large low socio-economic
population. Reaching the unreached and beyond – it needs our urgent attention due to raising
health care delivery cost, new and emerging complications an expensive technologies. We need to
introspect of what is relevant to our needs now and future.

The scientific committee has put great efforts in preparing a fine scientific programme on
issues related to neonatology. We have arranged workshops on 26 th November to give hands on
experience.

Eminent national and international speakers will be addressing the gathering and it will
deliberate on various issues. Once again welcome to Shivamogga and the organizing committee will
spare no efforts to make your visit a memorable one.

With Warm Regards.

Organizing Committee
