Advanced Placement Drawing Syllabus

This document provides an overview of the syllabus for an Advanced Placement Drawing class. The class aims to give students college-level drawing experience and help them compile a portfolio to submit to the AP Board for evaluation. During the school year, students will focus on developing their portfolios, with the first semester spent on the breadth section and the second on concentration. They will be expected to demonstrate understanding of elements of art, principles of design, and problem solving. Over the summer, students are assigned projects like keeping an art journal, researching artistic influences, and creating artworks to develop these skills before the school year begins.
