The panel formwork with the MX Tie which
is installed from one side only
Since its launch in 1986, PERI TRIO has

developed into the worlds most successful panel formwork system. Arguments such as few different panel sizes
or only one single connecting part, the
BFD alignment coupler, have set benchmarks in the industry.
With the development of MAXIMO,

PERI has justied its role as technological market leader.
This independent formwork system
- fully compatible to TRIO - fulls the

The conical-shaped MX Tie rod is also

set in the concrete when lling the
formwork. Due to the special form,
spacer tubes and cones are not required. This saves materials and the tie
can be installed and removed considerably quicker.

The tie hole is protected against any impact

through a metal ring. The Sealing Sleeve seals
the tie point and prevents any concrete bleeding.

Dismantling ties
1. First loosen and then completely unscrew the Eye Bolt.

2. Remove ties by means of the MX Tie
Rod Spanner-2.
3. Tighten MX tie with the MX Tie Rod

Spanner-2 as far as it can go.
4. Tighten Eye Bolt.

With MAXIMO, the tie points are systematized, i. e. all panel sizes are centrically arranged and each position is engaged.

With conventional panel formwork, all
unused edge tie points must be
closed.
Additional work is frequently necessary
due to unclosed tie holes:
Freeing the tie points in the panel
which have been plugged with concrete.
Concrete cosmetic work on the concrete surfaces affected by bleeding.

MAXIMO panels are available in 6
heights from 30 cm up to 3.30 m as
well as 5 widths from 30 cm to 2.40 m
in 30 cm increments. In addition, a
45 cm wide panel is available which
greatly reduces the use of ller plates.
