    WFuture Group partners with Cognizant for FMCG arm FCL

    IT major Cognizant has entered into a strategic partnership with Kishore Biyani-led Future
    Group to transform its FMCG arm Future Consumer Ltd (FCL) into a connected
    enterprise.
    The platform will enable FCL to optimise its supply chain and improve business.
    It will also help FCL harness digital technologies, including mobile and data analytics, for
    real-time performance and operational insights to accelerate decision-making.
    Road ahead not easy, Infosys CEO Sikka tells employees

    Company CEO Vishal Sikka has stressed the importance of automation and warned against
    "lackadaisical" attitude towards greater value creation.

    Reflecting on the year gone by, Sikka said "Brexit, the American Presidential election,
    demonetization, cyber security, the refugee and terrorism situation were the events that
    seriously changed the way we viewed the world, but perhaps that biggest disruption is
    the one that has been proceeding irreversibly and unstoppably in our times is the
    accelerating
    force
    of
    technology
    and
    digitization."

    Genpact and Cisco collaborate for a centre for smart cities in Jaipur

    The country's largest business process outsourcing firm Genpact and American
    networking giant Cisco have launched a global center of excellence in Jaipur as part of
    Cisco's Lighthouse City project, which is a global initiative to extend its smart cities
    initiative.
    The partnership is expected to enable Jaipur to access Ciscos global network and help
    the city benefit from economic and social transformation as the next phase of the Digital
    India program begins.

    Accenture, Blue Prism team up to give automate solutions to companies

    Accenture and Blue Prism, a leading provider of enterprise robotic process automation
    (RPA) software, are working together to provide RPA solutions to help organizations
    across industries automate a wide range of business processes for reduced costs,
    improved compliance and increased productivity.
    More than 40 organizations have already selected Accenture and Blue Prism the alliance
    combines Accenture's global reach and cross industry expertise with Blue Prism's RPA
    software robots to provide the next generation of the "digital workforce."
