1. Norisa Sorote witnessed a man in a black jacket being forcibly arrested by two men who identified themselves as police officers at a store in Zamboanga City on January 10, 2017. 2. During the arrest, coins and a cellphone fell out of the man's jacket. One of the officers said "Be quiet, pusher!" indicating the man was being arrested for drug dealing. 3. The man was then handcuffed and forcibly searched before being brought into a Toyota Revo vehicle and driven away. Sorote executed an affidavit to attest to these events.

AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

I, NORISA I. SOROTE, of legal age, Filipino, single and a


resident of Baliwasan Grande, Zamboanga City, after having been
sworn to in accordance with law, depose and state:

1. That I am presently working as a storekeeper at SK


Enterprises (General Merchandise) located in Barangay
Baliwasan San Jose Gusu Rd. , Zamboanga City;

2. That I am tending the said store from 8:00AM till 7:00PM;

3. That on the 10th day of January 2017 a guy in black jacket


went to our store (SK Enterprises) and bought one chippy and
a bottle of 8 oz coke;

4. That while still attending to said guy I was noticed two men
approaching him from the back;

5. That I heard one of them asking the guy in black jacket Ikaw
ba si Mr. A? and the latter replied, Oo, ako yun, bakit?;

6. That the guy in black was forcibly arrested by men who


introduced themselves as Police Officers;

7. A commotion started when the guy in black shirt struggled to


get free from being handcuffed and the Police officers forcibly
made a body search against the man and several coins started
falling out of the jacket, his cellphone and keychain;

8. That one of the armed men said "Tumahimik ka, pusher!";

9. That I saw a Toyota Revo getting near them, then right away
brought the guy in black shirt and drove away; and
10. I executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the
foregoing facts and circumstances for whatever legal purpose it
may serve.

AFFIANT FURTHER SAYETH NAUGHT

January, 2017 in Zamboanga City, Philippines.
