RCII Self Concept

Learning Experience Activity

Name of Activity: My look in 3D

Age: 5 year olds

Intended goal/s: Students do their face in three dimension.

Materials needed: color skin foam, black yarn, yellow yarn, brown yarn and goggly
eyes.

Processes for preparation and introduction: Tell children that now move from

markers to other supplies. Explain supplies that children are going to use. We encourage

kids to use supplies provided. After deciding what kid wants to use glue it to the foam

face. Afterwards, kids present their 3D face.


Teaching strategies: In this activity hands on occur. Let the kid identify

themselves. It let kids covey how they look. It lets them realize who they are. Time that

kids show their creative side. Kids allowed to pick supplies they want to use.
Explanation of developmental appropriateness: This activity lets kids identify

themselves. It makes children think how they look or want to express themselves. They

have to think on how they look or where to put they facial parts. They practice small

fine motor practice grabbing facial parts and the putting glue.
