Currently, I am representing a local NGO through which I undertake freelance services like conducting
workshops, generating training modules, documentation, report writing, editing, proofreading etc.
I attended a good number of workshops on development of language skills, soft skills, gender studies, train
the trainer, research methodology, and curriculum development etc., conducted by the premier institutions
such as JNTU, Hyderabad Central University and corporations like Globareena, Infosys. The knowledge
from these sources would immensely help to generate suitable material.
Adding to academic workshops, I involved in many activities such as disseminating information across
departments and employees in written form, sending press reports on various happenings of organizations,
coordinating internal and external communication, documentation of various reports, preparing data
collection tools, facilitating meetings, visiting the fields, etc. As a part of my NGO sector work, I designed
and facilitated various Trainings for WUAs, NGO heads, Public representatives, Govt. Officers, etc. The
experience from these activities will enable me to assist respective teams in such projects.
I have been to national and international conferences and presented 10 research papers and have 12
publications on various aspects and current trends of English language teaching, education, gender studies
in the renowned journals/magazines. The exposure and experience obtained from such contributions
would play a vital role in assessing language needs of the learners and in designing/compiling needed
language material as some of the articles were written by conducting needs analysis, and were based on
empirical studies.
I was actively associated with Rural Development Society, an NGO based in Wanaparthy, district of
Telangana and involved with them in their activities on community organization, women’s rights
activities, education, particularly, girl child education in collaboration with parents, community and
teachers. I also collaborated with India Literacy Project on a collaborative project, Literacy Programme
and took part in a Girl Child Education Program, which was collaborated with Room to Read, New York.
I hope this experience would help me in dealing with the students and teachers of different regions.
Proficient with information mapping, MS-word, Excel ,PPT, MS- Front Page etc.
