Introduce us to a topic you know about and explain why it interests you.
(We are looking for structure and succinctness in your answer. Your answer does not
need to be related to law or HSF and it is a chance for us to find out more about you and
your interests)
(Up to 300 words) I am in the first year of five years integrated programmes in law, and
meanwhile, I have completed the first semester along with a law subject, i.e., the law of
torts. And I fond of it as different cases have such a different judgement, and as tort laws
are not codified so, everything depends upon judgement. Take the case of Butterfield v.
Forrester (1809) 103 E.R. 926 and compare it with Admirlity Commissioner V. S.S. Volute
(1992) A.C. 129. You will find the evolution of the concept with time. And it may be
possible that the judgement is controversial to not only you but for me also.
So for till now, I find it so interesting
What skills, qualities and attributes would you bring to the role?
(Up to 300 words) I am a highly motivated first year BBA LLB. Law student on track for a
1st classification. My studies have provided me with a strong foundation in the business
and law including an understanding of statistics, human resources, management
principles and law relating to torts and legal methods. I wish to develop my skills if there
are any opportunity to do so. I never want to miss any opportunity for self-development.
