Understanding your results
Admitted - If you have been offered a place, you will see the term ‘Admitted’ next to the Master’s programme.
Reserve - ‘Reserve’ appears next to the programme to which you have been placed on a waiting list. Whether or
not you are offered a place depends on how many accepted students plan on attending. The university will contact
you if a place should become available.
Deleted - If you have been admitted to a programme that you ranked higher, those with a lower ranking have been
cancelled and are marked ‘Deleted’ in your notification (you can only be admitted to one Master’s programme).
‘Deleted’ may also indicate that you did not fulfil the entry requirements for that programme.

For questions regarding scholarships that you may have applied for in Sweden, please contact the organisation or
university issuing the scholarships.
For questions regarding your residence permit for studies, please contact the Swedish Migration Agency.

Appeals
The right to appeal is restricted to decisions regarding general and specific entry requirements; the selection results
as such cannot be appealed. The appeal must be made in writing. Instructions for your appeal can be found at
Universityadmissions.se at the following link: www.universityadmissions.se/en/appeals.
The best way to submit your appeal (Appeals form plus a copy of this notification) is by scanning your documents
and uploading them on Universityadmissions.se. You can find instructions under the ‘Documents’ tab when you log
in to your account. You can also submit your appeal by regular post to Appeals, University Admissions in Sweden,
R 312, SE-106 53 Stockholm, Sweden.
Please note: letters of appeal concerning the following universities should be addressed to the vice-chancellor of
the university: Chalmers University of Technology, Ersta Sköndal Bräcke University College, Stockholm School of
Economics, Jönköping University, The Red Cross University College of Nursing, Sophiahemmet University College,
Johannelunds theological university college and Stockholm School of Theology.

Your appeal must have reached University Admissions in Sweden no later than three weeks after your receipt
of this notification. The university to which you appeal will re-assess your eligibility. If the university concerned
chooses not to change its decision, your appeal will be forwarded to the appeals authority for a final decision.

Regarding Tuition Fee payment
You have been admitted to a programme at Uppsala University on condition that you pay tuition fees. The
fees are paid one semester at a time. Within a couple of weeks you will receive an invoice for the autumn
semester 2018, which should be paid no later than two weeks after you have received it, in accordance
with the due date stated on the invoice. The invoice will be sent to your email address. If you have not
received an invoice within a couple of weeks, please contact feemaster@uu.se. For more information about

If you are admitted to Uppsala University

Welcome to Uppsala University!
To enrol in your programme you will need to register for the first semester's courses. You will receive
information about registration from the programme coordinator at a later date.
No reply to this Notification of Selection Results is required, but Uppsala University and the students on
the waiting list appreciate if you use the button "decline place" on www.universityadmissions.se (http://
www.universityadmissions.se) if you do not intend to study your chosen programme. This allows us to admit
a reserve in your place.
If you have questions regarding the application process, please submit your question at

(0)771-550 720, Monday to Friday 9:00-16:00 CET. You can also contact the Admissions Office at Uppsala

If you are admitted to a Master's programme, please remember to bring with you the original Bachelor's
diploma/degree certificate and transcript that you have sent in to University Admissions in support of your
admissions application. These documents must be presented at the time of graduation, when you apply
for your degree certificate. If conditionally admitted, you should also be prepared to identify yourself and to
present your original documents at the time of enrolment.
