(prompt by referring to Jesus’ example and expectation of us as humans
e.g. love one another.)
Explain tasks –
Explain that once they are done they must then glue the slips onto one
side of the puppet.
While students are completing this, walk around the room and ensure
students are staying on task.
Once completed gain students attention and explain the next step.
The students are to now draw themselves on the opposite side to the
qualities.
Once completed, students must come to the teacher or EA to be
recorded using their puppet to explain why being a good friend is
important.
Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)
Choose one student who would like to share their video and ask them to
show the class.
Close in prayer – ask a student to pray for recess and what we just
learnt. Finish the prayer oneself by highlighting anything the student may
have missed.
Work samples:
- Use the rubric below and the work samples completed by the
students to assess objectives 1, 2 and 3. Attach to work and
save in file once completed.
