Hi Kid, (This is Chit 1 for Stuti)

It’s a story telling time. Years ago Santa was used to go everywhere and distribute the gifts.
Once he went to the Ellorapark Domino’s, where he saw that LED board. Where numbers were
displayed and person whose number came went to take his/her order. So this time Santa also
decided to do new things as Digital 4.0 training was also made mandatory for all Santas too in the
organization.

Santa Decided to give this task to made LED board to a module lead Ronak. Ronak has few
associates, as three of them was belonged to electrical/electronics background, he gave task to
those fellows. One of them was Neetiraj. So as we all know, on that day all were playing Security
Week games in the ODC, while these guys were making LED board. Surabhi distracted them because
she wanted to know somehow who is the Santa that made them all work so that on the final day she
can do her probability calculation and tell something about the Santa-Kid pair. Due to deadline, they
completed their task and handed over to Ronak. Ronak was also in hurry and he gave this final
product to Santa. But, before giving it to the Sante, one bad thing did happen, Ronak bhai sensed
that these poor guys did the wrong soldering, so what he did, he made some cross wiring in the
circuit so that few of the test cases (those are already given) could pass the test. Now, Kid, Somehow
you came to know that one of the kids is you and you got the circuit layout for your turn. So what is
to be done by you that, before your Santa actually give you the problem to solve, here is the circuit
you can solve to reach your gift location before your Santa give. Make your Santa a Popat.

This is the shift register loaded with 1010 (D3 D2 D1 D0) initially. Subsequently the shift register is
clocked and the each clock pulse the pattern gets shifted by one bit position in right. With each shift,
the bit at the serial input is pushed to the left most position. Find out the D3 D2 D1 D0 table for 8
rows. Starting from 1010, 1101… and so on

This is the LED ,

This LED is solder with the above circuit.

So for example, to display digit 2, a,b,g,e,d will glow . i.e. a,b,g,e,d will have input “1” and other have
“0”

Now from that table Column D1 represents sequence f,a,g,b,open wire,e,d,c. Call it P

Column D3 represents the sequence b,c,a,e,d,f,open wire,g call it Q
