Congratulations on your investment in the most remarkable high output photonic-botanical

systems ever developed! Welcome to our family of highly satisfied users and clinicians of all
disciplines who are experiencing consistently excellent patient/client satisfaction and optimal
clinical results from the application of our highly advanced technology. All of us at HALO
Systems, Inc. know what an exciting time this is for you and it is our foremost desire to assist
you in all ways to obtain the most favorable outcomes, personally or with your patients/clients.
Satisfaction from using your Photon-botanical Harmonics System and related botanical topical
and internal support products is our highest priority. We are confident that HALO Systems is
redefining the standard of care involving high output harmonic light systems.
This manual addresses the functionality of both the HALO MAX and HALO Ultra Blue systems. The
mechanics of biophotonic therapy is the same for both systems. Should you encounter a comment
that provides instructions for either one of the light devices, the concept is applicable to both. This
user manual focuses on the description of the botanically filled vials/tubes, HALO systems, product
details and basic instructions in application.
Because there is no “one size fits all” instruction to meet the multiverse of physical, emotional
and neurological conditions a human body can be afflicted with, this manual provides you with a
basic starting point for personal application. You are encouraged to begin using the product
according to the instructions and then find your own personal routine and rhythm that fits your
individual needs.

Light Device Cautions & Possible Hazards
HALO Systems light devices incorporate high output VIOLET LED diodes. These light diodes are highly reactive to
finger oils and other contaminants and are never to be touched or handled in any way by other than professional,
HALO certified repair technicians. The HALO Systems light device is designed to run continuously up to one hour, but
HALO sessions generally do not require more than one or two minutes per vial. Switch the light off between vial
changes to save battery power and provide longevity to the LED diodes.
HALO Systems light devices are built to military specifications and manufactured by highly skilled technicians
using the world’s most advanced and durable light output sources, optics, relays, switches, electroni cs, circuitry, light
housing units and glass botanical vial systems available. It is for these reasons you can be assured that every HALO
Systems device is of premium quality and why we can offer a one year warranty on your premium investment (please
see Warranty Certificate located at the end of this manual).
The botanical vial/tube systems combine numerous botanical substances including exotic rain forest botanical
extracts, herbs, amino acid complexes and other naturally based proprietary formulations to be used in a multitude of
physio-harmonic protocols designed to assist you or your patient/client attain faster and more effective relief and long-
term recovery.
CAUTION: HIGH OUTPUT VIOLET LED LIGHT IS NOT AS HAZARDOUS AS LASER LIGHT, HOWEVER, THE FOLLOWING
PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE CAREFULLY ADHERED TO: NEVER ALLOW A CHILD OR MENTALLY CHALLENGED ADULT TO
HANDLE ANY FORM OF THERAPEUTIC LIGHT DEVICE. THESE PRECAUTIONS ARE ALSO VERY IMPORTANT FOR HOME UNITS
OR IF THE CLINICIAN BRINGS THE LIGHT DEVICE HOME WHERE CHILDREN COULD HAVE ACCESS AND ACCIDENTALLY INJURE
THEMSELVES OR OTHERS. THE DEVICE SHOULD ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED A POTENTIAL HAZARD IF USED
INAPPROPRIATELY.
DO NOT TOUCH THE LIGHT DEVICE DIRECTLY TO THE BODY OR SKIN. THIS IS NOT NECESSARY TO PROPER APPLICATION
PROTOCOLS AND COULD RESULT IN MINOR BURNING FROM DIRECT CONTACT. HOLD THE LIGHT DEVICE, WITH VIAL
INSERTED, AT LEAST ONE INCH FROM ANY SKIN SURFACE.
DO NOT SHINE THE LIGHT DIRECTLY INTO OPEN EYES. HALO APPLICATION MAY BE PERFORMED OVER THE EYE A REA
WITH EYELIDS SHUT. USE COMMON SENSE WHEN OPERATING YOUR HALO ULTRA BLUE OR MAX LIGHT DEVICE.
WEAR POLARIZED SUNGLASSES TO PROTECT AGAINST TEMPORARY FLASH BLINDNESS OR LIGHT INDUCED HEADACHE
WHEN USING THE LIGHT DEVICE(S).
DO NOT SUBJECT THE LIGHT SYSTEM OR BOTANICAL VIALS TO EXTREMES IN EITHER HEAT OR COLD. EITHER EXTREME
COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION OF THE GLASS VIALS, ESPECIALLY FREEZING CONDITIONS. SUBJECTING THE
LIGHT DEVICES AND/OR BOTANICAL VIALS TO EITHER OF THESE CONDITIONS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND YOU WILL BE
LIABLE TO REPLACE DAMAGED ITEMS AT YOUR EXPENSE.
EVEN A VERY BRIEF DIRECT LIGHT EXPOSURE TO THE EYES CAN CAUSE TEMPORARY FLASH BLINDNESS. Never shine a
light device directly into your own or another person's face or eyes, or in a direction where another person might be or
could suddenly appear (This precaution also applies for pets and other animals).
REFLECTED LIGHT CAN ALSO BE A HAZARD. Prevent exposure from reflections off shiny surfaces, and "back reflections"
from mirrors, glass and window surfaces. The focused intense light, or its direct reflection, may cause temporary flash
blindness. Because of the hazards mentioned it is vital that you operate your light system in a safe and responsible
manner. HALO Systems, Inc. requires that you acknowledge the following statements:

MISUSE CAN BE HAZARDOUS. Monitor ALL light device operations at all times. Keep away from children, mentall y or
physically challenged persons, or persons who do not understand light device hazards. Remember, therapeutic light
sources are not toys and must be respectfully managed with appropriate caution and professional responsibility.
MISUSE CAN BE ILLEGAL - Obey all applicable laws. Do not aim a therapeutic light source beam toward law enforcement
officers, ambulance or emergency responders or their vehicles. NEVER use to annoy, harass or distract other persons, birds
or animals.
HALO Liquid-filled Vial Systems contain various proprietary botanical combinations that serve as the key to
facilitating the body’s healing responses. These natural materials are sourced among numerous wild -harvested,
renewable resourced ingredients.
Cold weather/winter warning
Should you leave your HALO light device or the Liquid-filled Vial Systems in your car or in any other way expose
them to cold weather be sure to allow the light unit to return to normal room temperature (above 68 degrees
Fahrenheit to a maximum of 80 degrees Fahrenheit) before operating. If the liquid-filled vials appear to be cloudy or
frozen allow them to return to normal room temperature before using in the light unit. If they appear separated,
frozen or cloudy after a few hours, take a blow dryer set to high heat and waft the dryer back and forth across the
glass vial until you reach complete clarity.
Application Definitions:
Sublingual Application:
Sublingual (abbreviated SL), from the Latin for "under the tongue", refers to the route of application by which light/photon
enters the body through tissues (blood vessels and meridians) under the tongue.
Auricular Application:
Auricular (ear) application is shining the light/photon into and around the ear, with emphasis on the ear canal and outer
ear.
Direct Application:
Direct application is the direction of the light/photon to a particular body part only.
Systemic Application:
Systemic application is accomplished by shining the light/photon sublingually, on the auricle (ear) or by drinking structured
and charged water.
Water Structure:
Direct the light/photon to the surface of the water to reformat the molecular structure into micro clusters for better
hydration.

To provide clarification, a HALO System refers to a group of symptoms or afflictions that can be addressed by a
botanically filled vial/tube or combination thereof. There are vials/tubes within the kit t hat are a combination of

Place a WEIGHT LOSS (WL) vial/tube in the light device and direct light onto sublingual and/or auricular areas for 30 - 45 seconds
Protocols
The following protocols describe the many uses of the HALO system. Protocols are like “recipes,” which when
followed, provide maximum results.
Direct Protocol
Certain therapies may require a direct approach. This is achieved by removing the clothes and shining the light
through the appropriate botanical vial(s)/tube(s) directly onto the body. Light may be directed to any desired bodily area or
simply at the main trunk for rapid absorption of harmonic energies. Choose the desired vial(s)/tube(s) and direct the light onto
the desired area(s) for approximately 30 - 45 seconds. Observe results. Repeat if desired. Allow one to two hours between
sessions to allow for absorption of the energies.
Sublingual Protocol - Systemic
Choose the desired vial(s)/tube(s) and shine the light directly on the tissue under the tongue on the floor of the mouth
for 30 - 45 seconds. We have noticed remarkable results using this protocol as there are numerous energy meridians that
transverse the sublingual area and speed the acceptance of harmonic energies into the body. Blood vessels are also readily
accessible to transport the energies systemically.
The following are application protocols and the attendant results that can be achieved with the HALO ULTRA BLUE or HALO Max
Harmonics Systems and botanical vial/tube systems:
Pain Relief
Pain relief can occur within seconds and last for days, weeks or months. Place the PAIN (A-V or P) vial or tube into
your HALO light device, direct it toward the area(s) experiencing pain and press the power switch “ON” for approximately 30 - 45
seconds. Turn “OFF” and observe results. Repeat procedure if desired. Charge drinking water with PAIN harmonics and consume
it or provide to your patient/client.
Spine, Neck and Extremity Protocols
A full range of spine, neck and extremity disorders respond very well to the HALO Systems photon therapy protocols.
The entire spine, including neck regions, can often be effectively addressed within a total session time of 30 - 45 seconds.

In the event of food poisoning, gastric upset, gas pain or other gastro-intestinal related symptoms, insert the PAIN

Water Protocols
It cannot be stressed enough how extremely important it is to begin HALO water therapy the moment you receive and
start using your HALO System. Harmonic energies are transferred from cell to cell via electro-magnetic conductance. Just as in a
car battery, energy cannot transfer, be present or stored, without the proper conducting medium. The body operates on the
same principles. If you are using the HALO Systems on yourself or another and do not realize the effect(s) you feel you should, it
is most likely due to your or their body running on “dead” or low conducting water. Energize the body with HALO harmonically
charged water and you just might be amazed at the difference(s).
Water/Liquid Charging
Insert the WATER STRUCTURING (WS) vial into the HALO light device and shine the light into the water or liquid from
the top of the container for 5 - 7 seconds, for every 16-20 ounces of fluid water. Remove the WS vial and insert any of the HALO
vials/tubes into the HALO light device. The vial you choose will depend on the energies you desire to impart into the water or
liquid. You may even combine vials and impart all HALO System harmonics into the water. As you drink the water or other liquid,
the energies are absorbed and utilized by the body quite rapidly and noticeably. The effects utilizing this method are not as fast
as a local application but are still quite effective. Results are usually noticed in 5–10 minutes and can last for hours, days or

Do not shine the light through plastic containers. Fill the container and shine the light from the top into the water or

Water Structure

harm. Again, never shine the light directly into eyes or off highly reflective materials into the eyes. A treatment, in one bodily
area, should only require about 30 - 45 seconds of light exposure. More than that will not harm, but probably will not enhance
the overall results. Allow 1 - 2 hours in between sessions for the body to process the harmonic energies introduced .
Q: Will using a light device on a pregnant woman harm the fetus?

A: Understand that all of these answers relate only to our light device systems and not any competitors’ models. There should
never be a reason to employ a light device directly over a pregnant woman’s frontal midsection. We advise against this.
Performing a treatment anywhere removed from direct frontal midsection will cause no injury whatsoever. For example, if the
woman is suffering from low to mid-back pain, treat the area as usual. The light will diffuse within the muscular and joint tissues

Q: What is the depth of penetration of a standard light-generating device?

A: The accepted depth of penetration capacity of the light emitted from modern light generating devices depends on its specific
wavelength and light intensity, but, on average, the penetration is about 3 – 6 cm (1 – 2 inches.). The majority of photons are
absorbed in the first few millimeters. As the photons pass through the skin, the more superficial tissues absorb them, thus
reducing the number of photons that reach deeper layers. However, as photons enter the body, they create a powerful
physiological effect by inducing local metabolic changes and the creation of secondary messengers. Secondary messengers are
molecules that relay signals received at receptors on the cell surface that target molecules on the cell membrane and within the

other external causes; (e) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by HALO; (f) to
damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of HALO or a HALO
Authorized Service Provider (“HASP”); (g) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or c apability without the written
permission of HALO; or (h) if any HALO serial number has been removed or defaced.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE
LAW, HALO SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF HALO CANNOT

IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. NO HALO RESELLER, AGENT, OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR
ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY. IF ANY TERM IS HELD TO BE ILLEGAL OR UNENFORCEABLE, THE LEGALITY OR ENFORCEABILITY OF THE
REMAINING TERMS SHALL NOT BE AFFECTED OR IMPAIRED. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY
LAW, HALO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF
WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS
OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED
SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF
DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND
PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED OR USED WITH HALO PRODUCTS
AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT. THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY
TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR
OMISSIONS. HALO DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A
PRODUCT EXCHANGE WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF THE PROGRAMS OR DATA.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE: Please contact HALO directly via phone or email or contact a HASP using the information

provided in your sales/lease documentation. When contacting HALO via telephone, other charges may apply depending on your location and
your type of service. When calling, an HALO representative or HASP will help determine whether your product requires service and, if it does,
will inform you how HALO will provide it. You must assist in diagnosing issues with your product and follow HALO’s warranty processes. HALO,
at its sole discretion, may provide warranty service (i) at a HASP location, where service is performed at the location, or if none is available,
directly to HALO repair service location for service, (ii) by sending you prepaid way bills (and if you no longer have the original packaging,
HALO may send you packaging material) to enable you to ship the product to HALO’s repair service location for service, or (iii) by sending you
new or refurbished customer-installable replacement product or parts to enable you to service or exchange your own product (“DIY Service”).
Upon receipt of the replacement product or part, the original product or part becomes the property of HALO and you agree to follow
instructions, including, if required, arranging the return of original product or part to HALO in a timely manner. When providing DIY Service
requiring the return of the original product or part, HALO may require a credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the
replacement product or part and applicable shipping costs. If you follow instructions, HALO will cancel the credit card authorization, so you
will not be charged for the product or part and shipping costs. If you fail to return the replaced product or part as instructed, HALO will
charge the credit card for the authorized amount. Service options, parts availability and response times may vary according t o the country in
which service is requested. Service options are subject to change at any time. You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if
the product cannot be serviced in the country in which service is requested. If you seek service in a country that is not the country of
purchase, you will comply with all applicable export laws and regulations and be responsible for all custom duties, V.A.T. and other
associated taxes and charges. For international service, HALO may repair or exchange defective products and parts with comparable pro ducts
and parts that comply with local standards. In accordance with applicable law, HALO may require that you furnish proof of purchase details
and/or comply with registration requirements before receiving warranty service. Please refer to the accompanyin g documentation for more
details on this and other matters on obtaining warranty service. HALO will maintain and use customer information in accordance with the
HALO Customer Privacy Policy. If your product is capable of storing software programs, data and other information, you should make periodic
backup copies of the information contained on the product’s hard drive or other storage media to protect the contents and as a precaution
against possible operational failures. Before you deliver your product fo r warranty service it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup
copy of the contents, and disable any security passwords. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CONTENTS OF YOUR HARD DRIVE WILL BE LOST OR
REFORMATTED IN THE COURSE OF WARRANTY SERVICE, AND HALO AND ITS AGENTS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO OR
LOSS OF PROGRAMS, DATA OR OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE MEDIA OR ANY PART OF THE PRODUCT SERVICED. Your
product or a replacement product will be returned to you configured as your product was when o riginally purchased, subject to applicable
updates. You will be responsible for reinstalling all other software programs, data and passwords. Recovery and reinstallatio n of software
programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty.
