C. Evidence of Progress Toward Specific Standards or Elements to be Addressed/Enhanced

This semester I have learned and progressed more than I have set out for myself. I learned
how to use technology to enhance student learning and bolster their learning experience. I also
learned how to use social media and web sites to showcase my work and display my growth as
a future teacher. I attended many PGU’s focused on creating an emotionally safe and
accepting classroom. In my field experiences I have had many emotional times where I helped
students advance and learn new concepts, leading them by example through my respect,
ethics, and acceptance of every single one of them. I arrived early to my field experience
every time and took advantage of every minute of it to learn, teach, and grow.

E. Future Plans (identify what your goals for the next semester of your teacher preparation program will be)
I plan to continue my high grades and achievements just as I have for this semester so far. I will further stress on PLT groups and creating
similar support groups after my experiences with them in ED 204 and EMS 204. I have learned many things from my experience that I wish to
implement and include in my own classroom. however , the openness to learning from others (professionals and colleagues) and having a
growth mindset, are the two most important takeaways and elements that have been enhanced in my professional growth plan and will
continue to be a significant part of my journey towards teaching. I plan to take as much as I can from my education classes to better myself as
a teacher. I will keep referring back to the EDTPA for resources and information that I found very valuable even this early in my college
career. I plan to take advantage of any teaching or volunteering opportunity to add to my existent ones so that I am not only studying about,
but also experiencing hands-on the different teaching occupations and groups of students with many different fascinating cultures and
backgrounds.
