I - OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

A. undertake fitness tests;

B. identify the physical activity habits of the family in terms of health-related fitness
components; and

C. assess the family’s strengths and weaknesses in the components of HRF.

Instructional Materials: Pictures, cartolina paper, pentel pen marker

A. Daily Activities

B. Pre-Assessment:
a. Identify the usual physical activities of your family members in terms of health-
related fitness components.
b. List the important information regarding the family members in the table
provided. These will be useful in designing your family HRF activity plan.

 Choose your Leader and Secretary.
 Reporting will be in any style
 Drawn by lot( to maximize time)

2. What is Fitness?
3. What are the different between Health components and Skill components?

V. ANALYSIS: (Reporting and discuss by group in any form or style the word below;

1. Answers of the guide questions will be thoroughly discussed in the class
using/applying “Q & A” method among the groups and the teacher
2. Summary shown through the pictures shown.

VII. APPLICATION:
1. Perform Exercises (fitness-related Activities).

Directions: write and answer the following questions; (5 points each)
1. What are health and skill related fitness?
2. What are the five health related components of fitness?
3. What is the difference between health related and skill
related components of fitness?

IX. Agreement :
