This document provides a matrix to determine whether a Safety Supervisor or Safety Advisor is required for various types of modification works carried out under Trakhees jurisdiction. The matrix lists 23 types of works and specifies for each whether a Safety Supervisor or Safety Advisor is required based on the scope and risk level of the work. For works not covered by the matrix or where the appropriate role is unclear, special consent from the EHS department is needed and must be obtained before starting construction activities.

A special consent from EHS is required for selecting appropriate Safety Supervisor /Advisor
other than the above selection matrix. Such requests need to be forwarded to
ehs.construction@trakhees.ae and necessary replies need to be obtained prior starting any
construction activities.
