I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. scan for specific information;
b. use graphic organizer in presenting information;
c. express awareness of the increasing growth of population; and,
d. transcode information from non-linear to linear.

Directions: In your group, brainstorm about the population in your family and
report the number of member in the class.

Directions: Go over the graph presented below to locate information that will
help you determine the population of the Philippines on the specific year.

Review your data and derive implications from them. Be ready to share your data
and list of implications with the class. Be ready to present it using a graphic
