    The 7th gear and related parts in some MTS72 and MTS73 models have been modified for improved reliability. The changes include a new shape for the 7th gear, counter shaft, sleeve hub, inner race, and needle bearing. A thrust washer was also added with four oil holes. The affected part numbers and tightening torque of the main shaft lock nut were updated. The modified parts are interchangeable with the former parts and are applicable from vehicles produced after August 4, 2003.
