    INJECTION PUMP DRIVE SUPPORT

    MODIFICATION NOTICE

    There are two types in the Injection pump drive support of the PF6 engine.
    One is the ball bearing type and another is the taper bearing type.
    In case of the taper bearing type, the end play adjustment necessary when repaired.
    Refer to the following instructions.

    1 Adjust nut

    4 Bearing
    5 Shaft
    6 Key
    7 Bearing
    8 Wear ring
    9 Support case
    10 Oil seal
    Construction of the taper bearing type

    ADJUSTMENT AND
    EXCHANE METHOD
    Adjustment of end play
    The end play of the shaft should be adjusted within maintenance standard with shims.
    Maintenance standard: 0 to 0.25mm

    Replace the oil seal


    The oil seal is exchanged by using oil seal replacer (99723-95500).
