Abstract:
Holiday trip planner is a web based application through which any one can book for
holiday trip. Holiday trip planner travel planning functionality makes it easy for to plan
holiday in a matter of minutes. By pre-planning your dream holiday, you can then proceed to
book with ease. Holiday trip planner is an online travel management system. It aimed offer a
range of best-value services to ensure that runs smoothly and efficiently. It offers a complete
range of services for the business and individual traveler. Holiday trip planner provides very
smooth facility one who wants to make holiday trip. This Application provides all available
trip places with complete package (Complete package includes all hotel facility, bus facility,
and complete charges).
Existing System:
In existing system, the holiday trip service providers are using social web sites to
publish holiday trip packages. If any user seen that advertisement in social web sites, then
the users/customers directly contacted to publishers to book the package. And there the
publisher is following the manual process to conform the package to related customer. This
process is burden to publishers and customers. User/customer manually selects many options
like gallery and virtual tour of the selected location. So it’s time taken process.
Drawback of Existing System:

 In existing system they are mostly depending on the social sites.
 The customers are manually approaching to the publishers, It a time
consuming process.
 Main drawback of existing system is: It is not user friendly.
 Existing system doesn’t provide 100% user satisfaction.
Proposed System:
In proposed System, Holiday Trip Planner is designed in such a way in which the
publisher can publish holiday packages. These packages are appears at all existing users in
the site. The user can interact easily to the application. User can view the available packages
and virtual tour of the selected location before booking. User is provided with an option to
select the location where he wants to spend holidays. Location is selected then the user can
see the gallery of the selected location. After selection of location then user has to give the
accommodation details and number of days of stay. Admin/publisher is the person who
maintains the website.
Benefits of Proposed System:
 Proposed system is user friendly.

 It providing the access permission to the admin and users ( it mean only authorized
person/user can utilize the services).
 User can get clear details about all trip packages.
 User can get gallery on selected tour plan.
Modules:
1. Authentication
2. User Module
3. Admin Module
Module Description:
1. Authentication:
The user details should be verified against the details in the user tables and if it is
valid user, they should be entered into the system, once entered, based on the user type
access to the different modules to be enabled / disabled. If users don’t have username and
password they should be Register. In our application we are having two types of users like
administrator, user.
2. User Module:
First user need to register with his details, after that he/she can login in our ontology
system. Users can view all available packages and they can book the packages based there
interest .in this applications user can view gallery of packages and cost of packages also.
User can able to book a service without meeting the Tour planner directly.
3. Admin Module:
Admin can login with his user name and password in to our ontology system. In this
Admin can add package and view the requests from users / customers. Admin will provide
the clear description of packages like name of package, package cost, all facilities of
packages. So Holiday trip planner (admin) travel planning functionality makes it easy for to
plan holiday in a matter of minutes.
