Art Craft and Logic 3

The document discusses introducing logical thinking skills in art and craft activities for children in schools. It describes exercises like building 3D structures out of toys, solving math problems, and designing vehicles from random objects. These activities help develop skills like rational thinking, problem-solving, and establishing cause-and-effect relationships. The document also provides examples of traditional Indian crafts and toys made by children that encourage logical reasoning without formal education. It argues that incorporating such activities in schools could boost children's learning and intelligence.

Art, Craft and Logic

Core Process
The process of Art and craft is very common curriculum activities in among every school in
india. Logical thinking in art and craft is the only thing which I figured out missing and adding
up these elements in schools can boost children thinking and Problem solving skills.

Process Scope (Logical Thinking)

Logical thinking is a Simple term, can be presume as a learning of incorrect and correct
reasoning. Logical thinking is only possible through strong reasoning.
One of the most basic things in human beings is logics and the more an individual get strong in
think reasonably, the better their learning skills become. This improves the calculative thinking
of the brains of the children. These types of practices provides benefits to kids such as:
1. Rational people can easily Co relate the events and objects.
2. The chance of making mistakes in experiments of rational people is likely to be low.
3. Children who have strong logical thinking and questioning skills are likely to be
successful in school with less amount of Hard-Work because they can establish cause
and relation on the situation.
4. Rational individual can develop right strategies in real time.
5. Science can be used in art and craft to establish logical thinking among children.

Logic Exercises
There are so many exercises to develop Logical thinking and logic is the discipline of thinking
therefore, As children practice this discipline develop and become core skills in children brain.
Here are the examples of logic exercise:
1. Solving maths problems
2. Reading detective novels and movies.
3. Design 3 dimensional Structures from different toys like Playing Cards, lego blocks and
several objects.
4. Playing scientific games digitally on tablet, mobile, computer and internet.
5. How to make kites from plastic bags.
6. The End result is building more intelligence in children.
7. Design Class rooms and institute’s infrastructure.
Practice Approach
There are multiple exercises which focused to develop logical thinking among children. In my
R&D i am focusing on building 3d vehicles compiled with random objects which require to build
decent working cars.
There are some process below which are the best examples of working with the activity or
issue.

1. Material process and techniques

In this process students should examine the varieties of utilisation of any particular
material and respond to the Situations.

2. Innovation in Craft and design process

Millions of practicing craftspeople are a huge and important resource of traditional
knowledge and indigenous technologies that could add value to the educational system
in a number of ways.

Target audience
I have Focused on particularly 3 age groups of children because kids in these age groups are
very much influential and learning curve is very high.
1. Middle childhood (Age 9-11)
2. Early adolescence (Age 12-15)
3. Middle adolescence (Age 16-18)

Process flow and outcome

Process references and brainstorming.
Visuals :
1. Jamaican kids Come-up with great toys to make them busy and cheerful with little logical
thinking.
2. Tri wheeler cart to play with friends that encourage them to be united and that nature we
can find in youth where they are completely dedicated to their Family, gangs and tribes.
1. Indian kids in rural craft movable cart toys. This practice is very much common among
village kids and this whole new practice makes them engage with logical thinking and
creativity.
2. In return for this practice gives them great opportunity of experiential learning and logical
reasoning skills.
3. If schools would adopt these activities like craft and design techniques then I hope
schools can create different type of interest among kids.

Activity process
In this process we will learn how to make rubber band cars and how they work.
There are multiple ways to make it and one of the processes is down below.

1. Make a Frame

1. Using toilet paper roll or tissue paper roll can use for lightweight and stable.
2. Think like a racing car and try to add some graphics in it.
3. If you are not good at painting then, no worries you can decorate your cart with the use
of other things like paper, frills and tape.
2.
a. Punch 2 holes at both ends of the cylinder.
b. Make sure the holes level and straight across opposite holes.
c. If kids are having trouble making correct, wap a thread around it and figure out
the correct place of holes.
3.
a. Take 2 dowel stick and Insert dowel through the holes.
b. Keep the dowel stick shorter at the front part of your vehicles.
c. If you want to experience the reality than do your wish it is good to understand
logics.

4.
a. Fix the wheels to the car.
b. Try to put some rubber around it build friction.
5.
a. Take some rubber band to give final touch to the car.
b. Pull the end of the rubber band back through the loop.
c. Tug it and pull it gently and make it slipknot..
6.
a. Loop the chain around the front axle in a slipknot.
b. Attach paperclip at the one end of the Rubber chain.

7.
a. Feed the chain through the tube and adjust the length
b. Drop the paperclip down the tube, Grab it with your fingers, then pull it out the
other end.
c. The rubber band chain should be about the same length as the cardboard tube.

8.
a. Pull the rubber clip towatd the mouth of the tissue paper roll tube.
b. Slide paper clip Onto the endof the tube.
c. Pull the rubber car backand let it go; and see the “GO GO GO”.

My practice and Outcomes

I have built one of the rubber band cars by myself and it was fun and I learnt a lot from the
process and i used so many environmental objects to complete my task like Disk, paper roll,
Dowel stick, bottle cap, ball bearing to make it move faster and rubber band.
Craft and design Culture in india
The ‘jhola’ , symbolic is sticked to people of either creativity or diehard social work, and in india
Design academic plays the important role engaging and orienting students through variety of
Crafts design and informative briefs.
Indian education system is inspired from indian heritage and cultures. Which is great and till
now bought country to another level of recognition. We are very progressive in how we see the
world and respond to it but that nature should shape in kids from the Institute of education only.
Indian culture is all about art and craft but not any specific design.
The quality and variety of knowledge is highly influence the level of understanding and design
opportunity among students, and this can only develop by the experience of the institution and
its faculty.
I see design as a true Example of informed, honest, empathetic, and value-driven endeavour
with little to differentiate between self and practice.
If the B schools have moved to becoming D schools, there is something unique in the way
design addresses issues. We need with utmost commitment to demonstrate that design as a
process is not limited to products. For I see design as a true mirror of empathetic, informed,
honest and value-driven endeavour with little to differentiate between self and practice.
Final outcomes and visibilities
These are some outcomes which i thought right according to me if we introduce such kind of
practice which I have done in my process. And this will give very effective results to institute and
organisation who wants to explore more toward learning and understandings.
