    I. Objectives
    At the end of 60 minutes, the students will be able to:
    A. define reality and fantasy ;and
    B. identify reality and fantasy based on the pictures provided.

    II. Subject Matters


    A. Topic : Identifying Reality and Fantasy (Viewing Comprehension)
    B. Reference : https://www.slideshare.net/556/lesson-plan-in-english-2-

    C. Materials : cartolina,pictures, assessment paper
    D. Value Focus: The students will be able to appreciate reality situations and
    understand fantasy.

    III. Procedures
    A. Preparatory Activities
    1. Opening Prayer
    2. Greetings
    3. Checking of Attendance
    4. Motivation
    a. The teacher will show a picture of fairy. Then, the following
    questions will be asked.
     Have you ever wished for something and got it?
     What did you wish for?
    b. The teacher will show a picture of PBB logo and ask the following questions.
     Have you ever wished to be one of the housemates of Kuya?
    What are your reasons?

    B. Lesson Proper
    1. Activity
    The teacher will divide the students into four (4) groups. The class is going to play a game entitled “Who
    am I”?
    a. The teacher will post the names of person/characters on the board.
    Each group will be given an envelope that contains unpuzzled pictures of different character (Duterte,
    Snow White, Charo Santos, Spiderman).

    b. The students are going to arrange the picture and they will identify
    whose the picture describes.
    *Duterte-He is our 16th president in the Philippines.
    *Charo Santos-What is the title of her Tv show that we mostly watch
    every Saturday? MMK

    2. Analysis
    a. What have you noticed on our activity?
    b. What can you say about the pictures provided?
    c. What is the difference between reality and fantasy?
    Valuing: Why do we need to identify reality to fantasy?

    3. Abstraction
    a. What is reality? Reality-is the state of things as they exist. It's what you
    see, hear, and experience.
    b. What is fantasy? Fantasy-is an idea with no basis in reality and is
    basically your imagination.
    c. How did you know that the picture shows reality?
    d. How did you know that the picture shows fantasy?
    e. What is the importance of knowing reality and fantasy?
    4. Application
    a. Pictures presented on the board with different manners, five(5) for
    reality and five(5) for fantasy.
    b. The teacher will paste the word reality and fantasy for the students to
    label the picture.
    c. The students will pick a picture and put it on its designated columns .

    IV. Evaluation
    Direction: Write the word REALITY if the picture shows REALITY and FANTASY if it is
    FANTASY. Write your answer beside each picture.
