    Background of the study


    Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells which tend to
    proliferate in an uncontrolled way and in some cases, to metastasize or
    spread. Last 2015, an estimated 90 million new cases of cancer and this
    year, it is estimated that 14.1 million new cases will occur. Cancer is
    one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide and inadequacy of
    conventional / Chemotherapy to affect major reduction in mortality
    indicates the new approaches are critically needed. Therefore, there is
    an urgent need to develop new anti-cancer agent with minimal side
    effect to our body.
    Chemotherapy or synthetic anti-cancer remedies are beyond
    the reach of a common person because of the factor which is the cost.
    Instead of these, Herbal Medicine is mostly used by common people
    especially people in rural areas, which is prepared from plants.
    Common people mostly think of Herbal Remedies as products sold over
    the counter as supplements. Plant derived natural products such as
    flavonoids and terpenoids etc. , have diverse pharmacological
    properties including anti-oxidant and cancer preventive effects.
    Plumeria rubra trees are found in the Philippines and also in
    other tropical countries. It’s flower extract has anti-tumor activities.
    Based on what I have read on an article, it has an anti-cancer property
    that can remove or deplete camcer cells. The main factor in this
    solution is the IC5O values on the Plumeria rubra flower extract.
