    History of One Cainta College (OCC)

    The blessing and inauguration of One Cainta College (OCC) was slated at 9:00 am, Friday,
    th
    27 of October 2017, at the OCC building.

    The traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony of the school marks the official realization of a dream
    project for the people of Cainta. The ceremony was performed by Mayor Johnielle Keith P. Nieto,

    the Sangguniang Bayan ng Cainta, the OCC Board of Trustees and the guests of honor; namely,
    Governor Rebecca A. Ynares and Congressman Michael John R. Duavit and ALCUCOA
    president, Dr. Raymond P. Arcega.

    The blessing of the school building was officiated by Rev. Fr. Nolly C. Buco. After the ribbon-
    cutting ceremony and blessing, all the participants gathered for the Inaugural ceremony.

    Keynote speakers included Gov. Ynares and Rep. Duavit, while Mayor Nieto gave his Inaugural
    address after which Dr. Arcega delivered his congratulatory message.
    History of One Cainta College (OCC)

    A new and modern learning institution is unveiled in the heart of Cainta, Rizal.

    Officially named One Cainta College (OCC), the school is a project of the Municipal Government
    of Cainta, and caters to residents of the municipality. OCC is the brainchild of Cainta Mayor
    Johnielle Keith P. Nieto, who also serves as the Chair of the College Board of Trustees. He is ably
    supported by the Sangguniang Bayan of Cainta and the OCC Board of Trustees. OCC has
    announced its readiness to accommodate its first batch of students, who are officially enrolled for
    AY 2017-2018. At present, OCC offers ladderized two-year courses on Information Technology
    and Office Management, with classes to be held from morning to evening, Mondays to Saturdays.
    History of One Cainta College (OCC)

    During AY 2018-2019, OCC will offer Bachelor degree courses in Information Technology,
    Industrial Engineering, Entrepreneurship Management, Office Management Technology
    Cooperatives and Business Teacher Education.

    OCC stands on 1,800 sq.m lot along ROTC Hunters Road in Baranggay San Juan, right across
    One Arena. One Cainta College seeks to improve the quality of lives of the people of Cainta by
    providing them with modern, high standard and quality education and preparing them for career
    success, both locally and internationally. In addition to education, OCC seeks to serve as a strong

    unifier and inspiration to the people of Cainta, as they put their desires and hope in education as
    the most important catalyst to change, development and progress.
