Self-Development Notes: How To Stop Negative Thoughts?" "
How to stop negative thoughts?” The key here is changing your focus”
1. Think of something you are really proud of by focusing on it. Example: Something you
accomplished
2. Do the wonder woman pose
Close your eyes and focus on something that could excite you and feel that that thing is
currently happening
1. Do three minutes of gratitude where you think about three things you are grateful for
today and feel those feeling of gratitude. (when you’re grateful you can’t be worried or
fearful)
2. Think of the top three things you want to accomplish and see them done and feel those
feelings as if you already have what you desire.
**If we don’t really take control of our environment our environment will take control of us
Leave the pain of your past behind so it can’t ruin your future or block the light of your
bright future. Your past is gone whatever happened reliving the events will do you no
good .
If someone did you wrong, the only way you can WIN is if you let go and move on 😊
If you want to win you must focus on building your future and start right now.
Don’t allow events in the past which are now gone to ruin this moment-which is
perfect-
The need to fit in and feel wanted can cause you to travel don paths you don’t want to
travel.
Do things because you want to and not in order to please others due to the fear of
judgement
You are born to stand out, to be appreciated and loved for who you are
Don’t dim your lights so you can fit into the dull background of other people’s lives
Those who care for you will see the light you’ve got and shine with you
3) LIMITED BEIEFS you project on your self
Those beliefs are most likely to be unconscious limitations that where conditioned in
you from a young age and throughout your entire life by listening to people around
you who never reached for their own dream
There is NOTHING you can’t do ..NOTHING you cant have and no one you can’t
BECOME if you BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
When there is no enemy within the enemy outside can do you no harm
When you have nothing inside holding you back there is nothing outside that can hold
you back either
Your entire life will change the moment you decide to change your mindset
If you are always needing significant other to feel happy and complete then you are
always one moment away from a breakdown
You have to develop a mental strength where you don’t need others to make you
happy
5) Money
Always feel that abundance is coming in your way and don’t feel that you can’t buy a
certain thing because you’ll start attracting lack into your life.
How to be motivated?
Accomplishing something is the only way to make you motivated.
We need to have small successes which are going to help us to continue
You can do TO DO lists in order to keep track of your goals
Break up your tasks into smaller ones (example: If you have chapters break them into
pages or paragraphs at the start to stay on top of your work this keep your stamina
going on
Be Realistic and make your tasks manageable
Use timetables: make the timetable very strict to regulate your study session and make
sure that you don’t procrastinate
Don’t give yourself empty minutes of going on your phone without it being scheduled
More time in flow means feeling great and creating great things
Explanation: Flow is a state where you are content in what you are doing, completely
focused and invested. How? By feeling Relaxed and not thinking of the future through
focusing on your current situation and what is in you hand
The whole premise of enjoying studying comes down to something called “The
lawyer effect” which states that we can turn anything into play
You are a badass:
It’s not that the things and opportunities that we want in life don’t exist yet. It’s that
we’re not yet aware of their existence
The more practiced you become at being present the more available you are to
download ideas and seize opportunities that you might miss out on if you’re
wrapped up in the endless chapter in your head
To be more present shut off the thoughts in your head and use your 5 senses to feel
everything around you which in fact raises your frequency and attracts things with
like frequency to you
The big snooze operates according to limiting false beliefs engrained into our
subconscious as a kid, as well as the decisions you’ve made about yourself that are
less than flattering or empowering
Watching someone else totally go for it can be incredibly upsetting to the person
who spent a lifetime solid case for why themselves can’t
Your desires often appear far-fetched but remember you create your reality and
you’ve spent a lifetime creating the one you presently have largely based on your
limiting beliefs
We are very powerful creatures that create our realities through focused energy
Your ego will do everything to stop you from changing and growing (by setting
emotional or physical blocks), especially since you’re attempting to obliterate the
very identity that you and everyone has come to know as “you”
You have to stop at nothing, have faith and trust that your new life is already here
and is far better than the old.
Try seeing yourself in the eyes of someone who admires you, believes in you leaps
and bounds
If we really love ourselves, everything in our life works
We are born knowing how to trust our instincts and how to not care about what
someone thinks of us but as we grow, we learn from people around us and replace
many of these understandings with limiting false beliefs
We tend to invest everything we’ve got in believing that we’re not good enough
In order to train your brain to think differently, figure out which affirmation you
need to hear the most and repeat it all day in your head, out loud, while you’re
walking, write them on post-it notes and stick them around your house
Write down your favourite affirmations ten times in the morning and ten times
before you go to bed and repeat them out loud
The more emotion you feel around what you’re saying, the more power it will have
to bring more positive change
Take care of your self as if you are the most important person you’ve ever met
Start paying attention to what runs through your mind and the feelings you tend to
feel at different times
Don’t compare yourself to others “Comparison is the fastest way to take all the fun
out of your life”
It’s none of your business what other people are doing. All that matters is that
you’re enjoying yourself and pleased with what you’re creating
You are more than enough so avoid comparison
Change the way you treat yourself or even the thought patterns that you constantly
repeat in your brain. Instead of screwing yourself over some stupid situation just ask
yourself one question which is “What can I learn from this?”
Free yourself from the drama and conviction that your current version of yourself is
the truth and make a conscious choice to replace old thought patterns into new and
improved ones
What you tell yourself on daily basis Is more powerful than you know
Our thoughts become our words, our words become our beliefs, our beliefs become
our actions, our actions become our habits and our habits become our realities
Every human is born with the ability to make mistakes so get over it. Dragging
around guilt and self-criticism is unhealthy and utterly pointless.
Guilt, Shame are the most destructive forces in your life and forgiving yourself is the
most powerful decision.
“Holding on bad feeling does nothing but harms myself and prevents me from
enjoying my life so I let go of all that no longer serves me” -Repeat until you feel
freedom and lightness
